We have the dedication and experience to meet the challenge of building an end-of-life textile management chain that meets the needs of Companies. Our structure consists of more than 60 employees with, in particular, a team of ten people dedicated to supporting and creating services for Producers, a team dedicated to developing innovative circular initiatives, a team for awareness-raising s and marketing activities and an operations team that annually manages more than 250,000 tonnes of waste throughout the national territory.
In addition, every year we publish the Sustainability Report prepared and certified according to the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) guidelines to report our economic, environmental and social performance in full transparency.
Erion Textiles is always at Textile Producers’ side to guide them through regulatory and technical aspects with the aim of ensuring their full compliance in the end-of-life management of Products, also with regard to distance selling or through online marketplace platforms in Italy and abroad, and also for all those Producers operating simultaneously in several countries.
Moreover, thanks to its non-profit nature, to its being part of a leading Italian System and of an extensive international network, Erion Textiles actively contributes to the implementation of the European Strategy for sustainable and circular textiles. In fact, it is part of a network of more than 100 European universities and research centres with which it collaborates on numerous circular economy projects, as well as a member of Textiles ETP, the largest networking platform for research and innovation in the textile sector. Erion Textiles collaborates with other European consortia (Refashion – France; Stichting UPV Textiels – Holland; MOHU – Hungary) and European producers’ associations to build skills and a common point of view on future Extended Responsibility models for Textiles.
