Textile
Products and Waste

The term ‘Textile Products’ means any garment, footwear and accessories also made of leather and hide.

The new EPR legislation will, in fact, be dedicated to finished Textile Products placed on the Italian market and, consequently, to the post-consumer Waste resulting from them. We are therefore referring to finished Products of clothing, footwear, home textiles and accessories also made of leather and hide. The EPR legislation will not affect semi-finished products or production waste.

Including but not limited to:

Clothing

(dresses, jackets, shirts, T-shirts, outerwear, knitted items, skirts, trousers, underwear, pyjamas, workwear, uniforms, swimwear, tracksuits and technical clothing)

Footwear

(shoes, slippers, sandals, sports shoes, safety shoes)

Accessories

(ties, scarves, stoles, handkerchiefs, gloves, headgear, socks, tights)

Leather goods and similar

(clothing, accessories, leather and imitation leather footwear)

Household textiles

(bed linens, bath and kitchen linens such as towels, wash cloths, aprons, etc., blankets, curtains and drapes)
